Led by MO Regulation Kashif Jaleel, the squad conducted continuous field operations across various tehsils, even during Eid ul-Fitr holidays. According to district administration officials, over 150 stray dogs were captured as part of these operations. However, one staff member was injured in an attack on the squad and required eight stitches.
A case has been registered regarding the incident. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Ijaz has further directed authorities to intensify the campaign against stray dogs across all tehsils and ensure immediate response to public complaints received via helpline (0800-112233) or social media platforms.
