Rain Brought Relief from Heatwave in Lahore

Sunday’s rainfall across several parts of Lahore provided a welcome break from the intense heat, turning the weather pleasant. The Meteorological Department reported light to moderate showers in areas such as Jail Road, Qartaba Chowk, and Mall Road.

Current temperature in Lahore was 33°C with minimum at 27°C and maximum expected at 39°C. Intermittent rainfall is forecasted for today and tomorrow, according to the department.

Wind speed measured 6 km/h while humidity levels increased to 45 percent. Rainfall data showed varying amounts across different areas – 11.2 mm in Nishtar Town, 3.4 mm in Johar Town, etc.

The Met Office predicted that intermittent rain may continue over the next 24 to 48 hours.
