US President Donald Trump announced plans for talks between Israeli and Lebanese leaders on Thursday.
However, a Lebanese official source told AFP that they are not aware of any such contact or communication from the Israeli side.
Trump previously stated on his Truth Social network that Washington is attempting to arrange dialogue between the two countries after a significant gap of 34 years.
