Lions Gate Bridge Opens After Police Incident Causes Closure in Vancouver

The Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver has been reopened on both sides following a police-related closure on Monday evening. The closure began at approximately 7:55 PM when officers responded to the scene, as reported by 1130 NewsRadio.

Vancouver Police Department confirmed they were assisting West Vancouver police during the incident. Witnesses noted multiple police vehicles heading towards the bridge and a helicopter hovering above the area.

Traffic data from DriveBC indicated that the bridge reopened just before 8:50 PM, concluding the closure after nearly an hour. The nature of the incident remains undisclosed by authorities.
