Lola Young has disclosed her entry into a holistic treatment facility for drug recovery following health concerns after fainting on stage. The incident occurred at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York in September, leading to the cancellation of all upcoming shows.
Young stated she was “going away for a while” to “work on herself,” with plans to cancel her tour indefinitely. She emphasized that her struggle is specifically with drug addiction and mental health issues.
At a recent interview, Young revealed she has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings as part of her ongoing recovery process. She also experienced similar struggles during the recording of her 2024 album “I’m Only F**king Myself,” which included lyrics about battling cocaine addiction.
Despite the traumatic event and past challenges, Young expressed gratitude for the experience that pushed her towards a better future and herself.
