Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived in Islamabad for a three-day official visit, where he was warmly received by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Noor Khan Airbase.
A ceremonial 21-gun salute greeted the Malaysian leader, while children dressed in traditional attire presented flowers to mark the occasion.
Prime Minister Ibrahim is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, deputy ministers, and senior officials.
During his visit, he will engage in discussions with Pakistan’s leadership, focusing on strengthening ties between the two nations.
The talks will cover a wide array of topics aimed at boosting cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, agriculture, the Halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and enhancing people-to-people connections.
The leaders are also expected to discuss broader regional and global issues, underscoring their shared interests in promoting peace and collaboration.
