This decision comes amid reports that Meghan has trademarked her brand name in Australia ahead of an upcoming visit with Prince Harry.

A source shared with a US-based entertainment site that Meghan feels being based closer to Los Angeles would better support their professional ambitions and help launch the next chapter of their public and media projects.

“It’s not that she doesn’t love their home in Montecito, the grounds are stunning and she’s put a lot of work into decorating it to her taste,” they said. “But she says it’s just way too removed for what she wants to accomplish.”

She hates feeling like she’s always on the outside of things and that’s just the reality of living so far removed from the action. Even Oprah, who’s always been such a big supporter, doesn’t seem to have the time for them these days. This has left Meghan feeling much more cut off than she expected and she’s ready to change things up.”
