Meghan Markle’s As Ever Series Ends on Netflix

Meghan Markle’s collaboration with Netflix, now tied to her own brand As Ever, has come to an end according to recent reports. This decision follows the conclusion of Markle’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which will not progress into a third season on the streaming platform.

Industry insiders reveal that the original purpose behind the partnership no longer aligns with the show’s future trajectory. The source from Page Six stated, “The program stopped progressing, so it didn’t make sense to continue their association.”

A Netflix spokesperson confirmed this change while maintaining positive comments about the collaboration. They noted, “Meghan’s passion for enhancing everyday moments through beautiful yet simple means inspired the creation of As Ever, and we are glad to have been part of bringing that vision to life.”

The spokesperson explained that the brand was always intended to operate independently over time. “As it was originally designed, Meghan will now continue to develop As Ever on her own as it transitions into its next phase,” they added.

“People familiar with the situation confirm that this shift empowers the brand’s growth and allows for future seasonal specials of With Love, Meghan to remain accessible on the platform.”

Markle will now focus on continuing As Ever independently, marking a new chapter in her entrepreneurial journey. Her most successful project with Netflix was the 2022 documentary series Harry & Meghan, which became one of the streaming giant’s top performers at that time.

While some earlier productions have garnered less attention, including the lifestyle programme and the documentary Polo, Markle and her husband Prince Harry initially secured a reported $100 million production deal with Netflix in 2020 after stepping back from senior roles within the British royal family. They recently renewed their partnership on a smaller scale last year.

As it stands now, projects currently in development include adaptations of Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune and The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory.
