Mel C has discussed her future plans in a recent interview with The Times, revealing that she and her new partner Chris have not yet considered marriage as part of their relationship. Reflecting on how her views have evolved, she acknowledged that it was not something she initially envisaged for herself but admitted to being “so happy” with Chris.

In a separate interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Mel C took an affectionate look back at the Spice Girls’ origin stories. She reminisced about how the iconic nicknames they were known by—Scary, Baby, Posh, Ginger, and Sporty—were born out of a suggestion from Peter Loraine, the editor of the show Top of the Pops, where the group first gained prominence in the early 1990s. Mel C described how their unique monikers emerged as part of a creative article, likening them to “little pots of spice.” The Spice Girls, which first formed in 1994, are now considered one of the most influential and memorable musical groups in history.
