Melania Trump has firmly denied any significant ties to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. In a White House address, she rejected allegations linking her to Epstein, stating: “The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.”
She described those spreading these claims as lacking ethical standards, humility, and respect. The former First Lady said she had never been friends with Epstein but acknowledged occasional social overlaps in New York City and Palm Beach.
Regarding a 2002 email exchange with Maxwell from the Epstein files, Trump noted it was “a trivial note” that cannot be categorized beyond casual correspondence. She dismissed online speculation about her relationship with Donald Trump, saying: “I am not Epstein’s victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump.”
Trump called for greater transparency for victims of sexual abuse, urging them to share their stories publicly and have their testimonies permanently entered into the Congressional Record. The White House stated President Trump was unaware of her statement prior to its delivery.
