Former Australia captain Michael Clarke is set to grace the commentary box during the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL), which kicks off later this month.
A total of 18 commentators, featuring both renowned foreign and local names, will be part of the PSL panel this year.
Returning to the panel are familiar faces such as Ian Bishop, Danny Morrison, Simon Doull, Pommie Mbangwa, Mark Butcher, Dominic Cork, and Mike Haysman.
“Bishop will make his second appearance in the HBL PSL after previously commentating during the 2017 season. Morrison, a beloved figure among local fans, is a regular voice in the tournament, while Doull has graced Pakistan not only for the HBL PSL but also various international series,” a statement from the PSL disclosed.
The lineup of former Pakistani cricketers includes Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis, Bazid Khan, Aamir Sohail, Urooj Mumtaz, Sana Mir, and Marina Iqbal.
Returning presenters Erin Holland and Zainab Abbas will be accompanied by Tariq Saeed and Ali Younis for Urdu commentary.
HBL PSL production aims to maintain high broadcasting standards, employing 30 high-definition cameras, including the dynamic buggy cam, to provide viewers worldwide with top-quality action.
Additionally, Spidercam has been enhanced with microphone and speaker capabilities for conducting on-field player interviews during matches.
The PSL also announced the availability of the Decision Review System for all games, along with augmented reality graphics incorporated into the broadcast.
