Anwar Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid’s brother, shared an emotional update on Instagram on Sunday. He revealed the death of his beloved dog, Dexter. Anwar posted photos of Dexter and penned an emotional note, expressing how Dexter had changed his life: “Today my best friend in the whole world passed away. You came into my life when I wanted to end it every day.”
Reflecting on their bond, Anwar wrote, “And you left me today… I’m more ready than ever to live this beautiful life. I had hoped it would be with you, my little son… but I know you are with me in every single lifetime…”
“SEVEN!!! Now I got to fly solo. I’ll miss you, my angel. Dexter!!!!! Sour-Patch Kid,” Anwar concluded.
Gigi Hadid also left a message of support, writing: “He was so special and so loved and very lucky to have found a soulmate in you brother. Some of the best go too soon. Rest in peace, Dexter.”
