Punjab Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora stated that violence against minorities in India is not a new issue. At a press conference addressing the Pahalgam False Flag and atrocities on minority communities in India, Arora claimed Pakistan’s peace-loving nature was highlighted globally due to the incident, while India faced diplomatic isolation.

Arora further said that the Pahalgam incident exposed India’s secular image internationally. He also noted that Muslims face violence under various pretexts in India, with no comparison between Pakistan and India regarding minority rights. In Pakistan, all citizens enjoy religious freedom, equal rights, and complete state protection without discrimination.

Khalid Das Kohistani, Minister of State for Religious Affairs, said no religion permits terrorism and criticized India’s false linking of the Pahalgam incident to Pakistan. He added that in Pakistan, people of all religions celebrate their festivals together and that Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has turned into a torture chamber.

Rajesh Kumar Hardasani, Member of the National Peace Committee, stated that Modi damaged Hinduism’s identity for political gains and attempted to divide Hindus and Muslims in India. Bishop Nadeem Kamran also noted Pakistan’s strong religious harmony and secure minority places of worship.

The press conference featured a documentary highlighting alleged abuses against minorities in India, alongside footage showcasing religious freedom and protection for minorities in Pakistan.
