A message from Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, was read during the ceremony, welcoming participants and highlighting AMAN’s role in uniting regional and extra-regional navies. He reaffirmed Pakistan Navy’s commitment to securing the Arabian Sea through initiatives like the Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) and introduced the AMAN Dialogue as a new platform for international maritime discussions.

Commander Pakistan Fleet (COMPAK), Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, addressed the gathering, commending the participating nations for supporting Pakistan’s maritime security efforts. He stressed the importance of interoperability among navies and expressed confidence that the partnerships forged during AMAN 2025 would strengthen global cooperation. He described the assembled flags as a powerful symbol of the exercise’s motto: ‘Together for Peace.’ AMAN 2025, running from 7-11 February, brings together around 60 countries, deploying naval ships, aircraft, special operations forces, and observers.

In a new initiative, Pakistan Navy will host the inaugural AMAN Dialogue on 9-10 February, where naval chiefs and senior officials will discuss maritime security challenges and explore collaborative solutions.
