Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff, made a significant announcement on Wednesday. He stated that no terrorist or facilitator would go unpunished, emphasizing that “no one can rationalize violence and terrorism under any pretext.”

The remarks were part of a visit to Quetta where Munir received an extensive operational briefing from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The briefing covered recent terrorist attacks orchestrated by Indian-backed Fitna al Hindustan terrorists in Balochistan. These groups, designated as such by the state, are believed to be operating with India’s backing for destabilization and terrorism.

The discussion also included measures being taken to strengthen state authority and protect citizens and critical infrastructure from these threats. During his visit, Munir reiterated that no one would go unchallenged in their pursuit of justice against terrorists.

He appreciated the professionalism, valour, and sacrifices made by all law enforcement agencies during anti-terror operations, including army personnel, Balochistan Frontier Corps, and police officers who had confronted foreign-sponsored threats. The statement highlighted his visit to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Quetta, where he met injured servicemen, praising their high morale and bravery.

Sarfraz Bugti, the Balochistan Chief Minister, accompanied Munir on this visit and commended the forces for protecting the nation against terrorist designs.
