Naqvi Meets Saudi Counterpart for Security Cooperation Talks

Mohsin Naqvi met with Saudi Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud on September 15th. The meeting took place in Mina and focused on bilateral relations, internal security cooperation, and the exchange of Eidul Azha greetings.

During discussions, it was decided that 200 personnel from Pakistan’s Federal Constabulary’s Special Diplomatic Protection Unit would receive training in Saudi Arabia. Both sides agreed to expand their cooperation, with a high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Interior expected to visit Pakistan soon.

Naqvi praised the Saudi government for its excellent arrangements during Hajj and discussed regional tensions with the minister. The latter appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in efforts to reduce tension in the region.
