Netflix’s hit Regency-era romance series Bridgerton returns this week with its fourth season, as the show shifts focus following a divisive third installment. Season 4 is divided into two parts and premieres on January 29 at 3am ET (8am UK time). The first part of the season will feature eight episodes.
Bridgerton Season 4 centers around Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, whose story has long captivated fans. Sophie Baek, portrayed by Yerin Ha, debuts in this installment, following Netflix’s announcement that Sophie would be cast opposite Benedict. The series now leans more heavily towards character-driven storytelling, inspired by a Cinderella-style narrative.
Several familiar faces return alongside new additions to the show, including Michelle Mao, Isabella Wei, and Katie Leung. Filmed across multiple locations in the United Kingdom, historic estates and stately homes serve as settings for Regency-era London.
Netflix recently released the official season 4 trailer, which highlights Benedict’s romance, lavish balls, and the series’ signature social intrigue. Bridgerton is available exclusively on Netflix and has been shot to capture the authenticity of the Regency era in Britain.
