### Pakistan and Ghana Sign Memorandums of Understanding During Bilateral Political Consultations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Pakistan and Ghana have signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during their inaugural round of bilateral political consultations. The MoUs covered cooperation between the foreign service training institutions of both countries.

According to a spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the next set of bilateral political consultations will take place in Islamabad next year. Pakistan’s delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary Hamid Asghar Khan, while Ghana’s delegation was headed by Ambassador Khadija Idrissu, Chief Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During these initial consultations, MoUs were also signed on issues of political cooperation and mutual support between the foreign service training institutions. In a joint statement, both countries reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations and strengthening ties in various sectors including politics, economics, defense, tourism, culture, health, education, information technology, and others.

The Ministry highlighted that Pakistan and Ghana have had friendly and cooperative relations for decades. They also emphasized the importance of institutionalized dialogue to ensure meaningful bilateral cooperation and mutual initiatives.
