Pakistan and US to Finalize Employment Process for Pakistani Nurses in New York

Pakistan and the United States have agreed to finalize a process for employing qualified Pakistani nurses in New York.

This decision was made during a meeting in Islamabad between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Deputy Speaker of the New York State Assembly, Phil Ramos.

The Deputy Speaker acknowledged the shortage of qualified nurses in the US and emphasized Pakistan’s potential to fill this gap. Minister Naqvi assured that urgent steps will be taken to facilitate the deployment of Pakistani nurses to New York.

Naqvi also highlighted the ample opportunities for collaboration between Pakistan and the US in education, healthcare, and economic development. He referred to his recent visit to New York, noting that productive discussions were held between the Islamabad Police and the New York Police Department to enhance cooperation. He mentioned that a delegation from the Islamabad Police will soon visit New York to further these efforts.
