Pakistan, China Sign MoUs for Enhanced Cooperation

Pakistan and China have inked multiple memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements during a signing ceremony attended by Asif Ali Zardari and senior officials. The agreements span construction machinery, animal health, and medical technology.

Officials highlighted that trilateral cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would promote construction machinery supply while exploring factory setup opportunities in Pakistan. A documentary on 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship was screened during the event.

Several organizations signed MoUs to strengthen collaboration, including Al-Hassan Trade Establishment, Sany International Development, and Henan Jialong International Technology. Additionally, a joint project for animal vaccine supply, including foot-and-mouth disease vaccines, and track and trace systems for livestock in Pakistan was agreed upon.

In healthcare, Dr. Ziauddin Hospital signed an MoU with Shenzhen Weibang Technology to promote intelligent robotics use in clinical medicine, marking progress in medical innovation between the two nations.
