Pakistan Condemns Israel’s Violations in Gaza

Pakistan has joined with seven other Muslim nations in condemning Israel’s repeated ceasefire breaches in Gaza. A joint statement was issued by foreign ministers from Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Foreign ministers strongly criticized Israeli actions aimed at undermining the ceasefire, including illegal settlement activities and attempts to impose a new legal framework over occupied West Bank territories. They reiterated that Israel has no legal claim on Palestinian territory under international law.

“The continued expansionist policies of the Israeli government in the occupied West Bank are particularly alarming,” said a joint statement from foreign ministers. “These actions fuel violence, conflict, and directly undermine the two-state solution by disregarding the right to self-determination for Palestinians.”

Foreign Ministers also rejected these illegal measures as clear violations of international law and UN resolutions. They pointed to Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli activities seeking to alter Palestinian demographic composition.

“We call on all parties to uphold the ceasefire, support dialogue, and pursue peace negotiations in line with Security Council resolutions,” they added. “Such actions must cease immediately.”

Pakistan’s foreign minister expressed solidarity with fellow Muslim nations. “We stand by the Palestinian people and their right to establish an independent state of their own choosing within pre-1967 borders, including Jerusalem as its capital.”

Also scheduled is Pakistan’s participation in the inaugural meeting for a Gaza Board of Peace on February 19th.

As tensions remain high, this joint condemnation underscores renewed efforts to promote stability and justice in the volatile region.
