Pakistan Egypt Conduct Joint Military Exercise Thunder-II Enhancing Counterterrorism Skills

Pakistan-Egypt Joint Exercise Thunder-II successfully concluded at Cherat. The two-week long exercise aimed to enhance counterterrorism skills through joint training, refining drills, procedures, and techniques related to these operations.

Special Services Group (SSG) of Pakistan Army and Egyptian Special Forces participated actively in the combat teams, demonstrating exceptional professionalism and operational skill throughout the exercise.

General Officer Commanding, Special Services Group, attended the closing ceremony as Chief Guest. The Commander of Egyptian Paratroopers, Major General Mohamed Saad Abdel Razik, and the Defence Attaché of Egypt were also present at the event.

The exercise served to further strengthen the longstanding and historic military-to-military relations between Pakistan and Egypt.
