The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee announced on Wednesday that the moon for Rabi-ul-Awwal has not been sighted, confirming that Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be observed on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Consequently, Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be a public holiday in Pakistan on Tuesday. However, this means that there will not be a three-day holiday period for Pakistanis.
The Federal Cabinet Division has officially designated Eid Milad-un-Nabi as a public holiday for the year 2024, as per the notification outlining this year’s public holidays.
