Pakistan Ends Hajj Flight Operations as Pilgrims Depart for Saudi Arabia

Pakistan’s Hajj flight operations are concluding as thousands of pilgrims depart for Saudi Arabia ahead of the annual pilgrimage rituals. In Lahore, PK-741 is scheduled to depart at 10:30pm carrying 290 passengers.

Officials stated that by last night, a total of 114,078 Pakistani pilgrims had arrived in Saudi Arabia for Hajj. The last group of 457 pilgrims present in Medina would reach Mecca today. Additionally, 44,146 private Hajj pilgrims are also in Saudi Arabia.

The return Hajj flight operation from Jeddah is expected to begin on May 31. Monitoring teams have completed interviews with 4,913 private Hajj pilgrims. Authorities took action on complaints regarding overcharging of Hajj expenses, resulting in refunds amounting to 73,255 Saudi riyals.
