Pakistan’s Army Rocket Force Command successfully launched the indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system on Tuesday as part of a training exercise. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed this launch aimed at enhancing operational preparedness and validating key technical parameters.
The Fateh-II missile is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids, according to the ISPR statement. The exercise focused on evaluating various subsystems and assessing the missile’s performance for improved accuracy and survivability.
Senior officers from the Army Rocket Force Command, officials from the Strategic Plans Division, as well as scientists and engineers from strategic organizations attended the launch. Military leadership praised the successful exercise, highlighting progress in developing the indigenous Fateh missile series. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and services chiefs congratulated the teams involved for their technical expertise, dedication, and commitment.
