In contrast, other districts within the province are projected to experience cold to very cold weather conditions, as stated by the PMD.

Regarding other regions of the country, cloud cover with intermittent rain and thunderstorms, along with snowfall over hilly areas, is expected in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, northeast Punjab, and northeast Balochistan. In these regions, temperatures are predicted to remain cold and dry.

Temperature recordings from major cities on Tuesday morning showed: Islamabad and Peshawar at 10°C, Lahore at 12°C, Karachi at 14°C, Quetta at -1°C, Murree and Gilgit at 2°C, and Muzaffarabad at 4°C.

Previously, a severe cold wave had continued in Karachi and throughout Sindh, causing temperatures to drop across the province. The PMD stated that this ongoing cold spell could persist until the end of the month, with some days expected to have single-digit temperatures.
