According to a spokesperson from the ministry, applicants must possess a valid Pakistani passport that extends at least until November 16, 2027, for registration purposes.

Officials have advised prospective pilgrims to renew their passports promptly to prevent any delays in the registration process.

Registered individuals will be eligible for either government or private Hajj schemes based on personal preference. The ministry emphasized that mandatory registration applies to all overseas Pakistanis planning to perform the pilgrimage in 2027.

Further details, including costs and terms of the Hajj package, are set to be released under the forthcoming Hajj policy.
