The conference aimed to address the global water crisis and advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 6 (SDG 6): Clean Water and Sanitation for All.

Panelists included Henk Ovink, Executive Director of the Global Commission on the Economics of Water, and Doulaye Kone, Interim Director of the WASH Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The discussion emphasized governments, international organizations, and NGOs can work together to foster environments conducive to private sector investment in water management. Ambassador Syedah underscored the critical importance of public-private partnerships in driving sustainable solutions and attracting foreign investments.
