Pakistan regrets recent attacks on Iran

ISLAMABAD – Defense Minister Khawaja Asif expressed deep concern on Sunday regarding recent attacks on Iran. In a message shared on social media platform X, Asif lamented the repercussions these incidents have had on every Pakistani citizen, noting that it has deeply saddened the nation.

Asif highlighted Pakistan’s unwavering support for Iran across all diplomatic and moral fronts. He underscored his country’s stance by denouncing the attacks against Iran at the United Nations as well, demonstrating clear solidarity with its neighbor.

In a call to action, Asif appealed to religious parties within Pakistan and urged the public to demonstrate patience amidst this crisis. He warned that allowing unrest or violence could potentially serve the enemies of Pakistan.

Furthermore, Asif stressed the importance of maintaining peace and calm during these sensitive times. Any form of disorder, he cautioned, would only exacerbate an already challenging situation.

Pakistan’s Defense Minister emphasized the imperative for all citizens to control their emotions and maintain peaceful protests. His words reflect a balanced approach in addressing the fallout from these alarming developments, aiming to uphold national unity while standing firmly with Iran.
