Pakistan, Turkey Continue Efforts for Regional Stability

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today underscored the importance of restraint amid escalating crises, including Israel’s attack on Iran and subsequent attacks in the Gulf. In a telephonic conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, he expressed deep concern over these developments.

The leaders addressed the current regional landscape, emphasizing the need for all parties to show maximum restraint to prevent further instability. Prime Minister Sharif highlighted his recent outreach to the leadership of the brotherly Gulf countries and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting them. He also conveyed readiness to contribute positively towards resolving the crisis.
