Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has reaffirmed that decisions within the party continue to be guided by the instructions of its founder, Imran Khan.
Speaking on the party’s position, he also reiterated support for Sohail Afridi as chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Barrister Gohar said Afridi had served the party’s leadership and would continue in the role.
The remarks come amid an unsettled political environment, with PTI’s organisational structure and leadership under discussion following a series of legal and political developments.
Party leaders have consistently pointed to Imran Khan as the central authority on major decisions, even as he remains in custody.
The chairman’s statement is being read as an effort to present a united front within the party during a period of sustained pressure.
