Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is heading to Rome, Italy this week for a crucial diplomatic engagement with his counterparts from Italy, Greece, and Spain. The focus of their discussions centers on Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior efforts in mitigating illegal immigration.
This high-level meeting follows an acknowledgment of Pakistan’s proactive measures against unauthorized migrants by the interior ministers of Italy, Greece, and Spain. Sources indicate that these officials will highlight Pakistan’s strategies for curbing illegal immigration during their interactions with Naqvi.
During his stay in Italy, Naqvi is scheduled to meet with representatives from ‘Police Khidmat Markaz Global,’ a comprehensive police service network recognized globally for its innovative approaches. The Interior Ministers are expected to be briefed on how this initiative has proven effective in managing illegal migration challenges across Europe.
The meeting aims at strengthening bilateral cooperation and mutual understanding among these nations, particularly focusing on enhancing security measures against unauthorized immigration. It is hoped that such collaborative efforts will lead to more robust and effective anti-illegal immigrant strategies within the region.
