Pillion Riding Ban Imposed in Sindh for Rabiul Awwal

In response to recommendations by the Inspector General of Sindh, a pillion riding ban has been imposed in various districts across the province, including Karachi. The Sindh Home Department issued a notification, stating that the restriction will take effect from tomorrow in several areas as part of heightened security measures for the month of Rabiul Awwal.

The ban covers districts such as Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Kashmore, Khairpur, Dadu, Qambar Shahdadkot, and Ghotki.

In Karachi, the ban will be enforced in District South on September 13, 14, 16, and 17. District East will see restrictions on September 13, 16, and 17, while District West will implement the ban on September 16 and 17.

Hyderabad’s ban will remain in place from the 1st to the 12th of Rabiul Awwal, while other districts such as Dadu, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Ghotki will observe the ban between September 13 and 17.
