Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Palestinian students will receive free, high-quality education in Pakistan. Speaking at a welcoming ceremony in Islamabad, the prime minister extended an open invitation to more students from Gaza, encouraging them to come and study in Pakistan’s major cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Islamabad.

He assured the students that they would have access to top-tier education without any financial burden. He also praised the efforts of Non-Governmental Organizations, such as the Al-Khidmat Foundation, for their role in assisting students affected by the ongoing conflict in Palestine.

“Pakistan is your second home,” PM Shehbaz told the Palestinian students, promising that every effort would be made to ensure their stay in the country is comfortable and fulfilling.

Dr. Mukhtar Bharath, Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Health, informed that over 100 students from Palestine have already arrived in Pakistan to continue their studies. The prime minister’s initiative comes after his earlier offer to Palestinian students, particularly those pursuing medical and dental education, to complete their studies in Pakistan.

The students expressed their gratitude to the prime minister and the people of Pakistan for their generosity and support during these challenging times.

Earlier, on October 18, the second group of Palestinian medical students arrived in Islamabad, welcomed by Dr. Mukhtar Bharath at Islamabad International Airport, in response to the prime minister’s invitation.
