The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned of a persistent cold and dry spell across much of the country, with only isolated areas expected to see some precipitation. The hilly regions are forecast to remain partly cloudy throughout the day, while the federal capital and its surrounding areas will enjoy relatively clear skies but expect cold temperatures during early mornings.

In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, districts in upper parts can anticipate very cold conditions for most of the day, with partly cloudy skies expected. Chitral, Dir, Swat, and nearby areas are predicted to experience light rain or snowfall intermittently. The entire province is also braced for gusty winds during daylight hours.

Punjab will see predominantly dry weather across many districts, though Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding regions can expect cold conditions, including gusts during the afternoon.

Sindh’s forecast remains clear with only isolated areas potentially seeing some rain or snow. In Balochistan, while northern parts are likely to experience cold mornings and nights, overall the region will remain dry and partly cloudy.

In Kashmir, the weather is expected to be mostly cold with light showers scattered throughout the day, especially during early morning hours.

Residents across these regions should prepare for brisk conditions and monitor local forecasts closely.
