PMD Issues Heatwave Warning for Karachi and Sindh Cities

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) issues heatwave warning for Sindh. Karachi temperatures expected between 40°C and 43°C, with some areas reaching up to 48°C-51°C.

Intense heat predicted from June 8 to June 12, including nighttime temperatures rising.

Several districts in Sindh and Balochistan may see temperatures as high as 48°C-51°C. Punjab parts expected between 44°C and 48°C.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plains could witness extreme heat, with readings climbing to 45°C-46°C.

Health experts advise precautionary measures, urging hydration, avoiding outdoor activity from 10am to 4pm, and special care for elderly and children.
