Haroon Akhtar announced the formation of dedicated committees, including KCCI’s input, to deliver focused solutions under the Prime Minister’s directives.

“The Prime Minister is committed to reviving local industries and boosting exports,” he stated. He also highlighted a recent cut in the policy rate to 11% as a key move to ease business costs.

KCCI’s Shawal Malik, however, raised concerns over Karachi’s deteriorating power infrastructure, which continues to inflate production costs.

Despite ongoing difficulties, Haroon Akhtar reassured the business community of the government’s resolve to improve Karachi’s industrial ecosystem and strengthen Pakistan’s global competitiveness.
