As part of road safety measures and to protect food delivery riders from fines for riding without helmets, foodpanda has launched a helmet distribution campaign for its delivery riders. The aim of this initiative is to further enhance the safety and well-being of its delivery partners.

The program was recently launched in Karachi and has since been successfully expanded to Islamabad. Under a renewed commitment to “Rider Care,” this helmet distribution drive marks the first milestone of a comprehensive roadmap aimed at establishing new industry standards for professional safety within the gig economy.

This development reaffirms foodpanda’s commitment to ensuring that its delivery fleet is equipped with the best protective gear for safe travel in urban traffic. Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics at foodpanda Pakistan, stated that their top priority is to make their logistics network the safest in the country. He added that the helmet distribution initiative is a significant operational milestone. In addition to providing personal protective equipment, foodpanda is also introducing mandatory road safety workshops in close collaboration with local traffic police authorities to promote a culture of responsible and disciplined driving.
