The prime suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case, Armaghan, was presented before the Sindh High Court on Tuesday under heavy security. Handcuffed and with his face covered, he was escorted into the courtroom, where his father, Kamran Qureshi, was also present.

According to police, Amir, a Karachi resident, was reported missing on January 6. His charred body was later discovered in a car in Balochistan. Authorities revealed on Friday that they learned about the murder after a suspect made a startling confession during interrogation.

Investigators disclosed on Saturday that the dispute leading to Amir’s death stemmed from a conflict involving a girl.

During the hearing, a visibly concerned Qureshi addressed his son, saying, “You don’t look well at all,” to which Armaghan silently nodded.

Police records showed that Armaghan was a “seasoned offender involved in extortion, kidnapping, drug dealing, and illegal possession of weapons.”
