July 9 marks an exciting day for PlayStation 5 owners as five major games are launching. These include Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Backyard Baseball, EA Sports College Football 27, Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avengers iX 1+2 Dual Collection.

The most anticipated release is the Ubisoft remake of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, known as Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The EA Sports College Football 27 is also making a comeback after a decade-long absence before its successful relaunch in 2024. This game has become one of the most reliable sports games from EA following two successful sequels.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, an action RPG released by Cygames in 2024, introduces more characters and quests with a new storyline.

Other titles on the day include Backyard Baseball and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avengers iX 1+2 Dual Collection. The full version of Palworld follows just a day later, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game arrives July 23, and Halo: Campaign Evolved lands on PS5 July 28, marking the first time a Halo title has ever released on a PlayStation console.
