The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has conducted a survey to evaluate the quality of mobile phone and internet services across the country.

According to the PTA, internet speeds improved significantly between July and September 2024, showing progress in upload and download speeds, as well as network availability, compared to the April-June period.

However, despite these gains, the PTA acknowledged that mobile call quality in certain areas did not meet the required standards. The survey results, while pointing to better internet performance, also highlight continued gaps in communication services.

Interestingly, the detailed survey findings have not yet been made available on the PTA’s official website, leaving some questions unanswered.

It’s important to note that internet services have been notably slow across Pakistan in recent months, causing widespread frustration for users facing ongoing connectivity issues.
