Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is preparing to launch a wide-reaching anti-government campaign focused on demanding the release of its founder, Imran Khan, and galvanizing nationwide public support.

A senior-level strategy meeting was chaired by PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar, bringing together provincial leaders and senior party officials from across Pakistan, including representatives from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Party sources said the primary agenda was to design a coordinated strategy for the next phase of the movement calling for Khan’s release, as well as to lay the groundwork for a broader political mobilisation effort targeting the current administration.

While the political committee has been tasked with announcing the official launch date, the timeline for protests is expected to be confirmed in the coming days.

To support the initiative at the grassroots level, PTI also plans to hold divisional consultative meetings, aimed at refining its regional approach and ensuring unified participation across all provinces.
