Punjab’s Technical Education Board has today unveiled the results from its second annual examinations, marking a significant milestone in academic performance. In Lahore, over 47,000 students participated in December and January, with more than 14,000 achieving success.
The board conducted DAE, Diploma in Commerce, Matric Technology, and Vocational programmes under the auspices of this year’s examination series. These examinations were a major undertaking with strict deadlines and rigorous assessments.
In total, 47,556 students participated across various disciplines, making it an important test for many aspiring professionals in technical fields. Over 14,390 candidates passed, marking a significant achievement given the competitive nature of these programs. The overall pass percentage stood at 30.26%, reflecting both challenges and progress within the academic environment.
The announcement comes from PBTE Chairperson Sarah Rashid and Controller of Examinations Irfan Qasim Malik. They praised those who succeeded, emphasizing the hard work and dedication of students and faculty alike. Board Secretary Muhammad Hafeez Chaudhry also highlighted the efforts of staff in producing these results, underscoring their commitment to transparency and efficiency.
These outcomes underscore the diverse nature of educational pathways available in Punjab, offering students a range of technical opportunities that prepare them for future careers in engineering, commerce, technology, and beyond.
