PWAs Chapter Highlights Punjab Festivals’ Historical and Cultural Significance

A chapter of the Progressive Writers’ Association held an intellectual and literary session titled “Social and Cultural Festivals of Punjab and Their Contemporary Relevance” in Islamabad. The event aimed to explore how traditional social and cultural festivals from Punjab have evolved over time, changing their original meanings within contemporary society.

Organisers emphasized that the discussion would delve into the historical roots of these festivities and highlight their enduring cultural significance.
