Ramadan Moon Sighted in Pakistan

Muslims across Pakistan received the auspicious news on Monday evening as the crescent moon signaling the start of Ramadan was sighted in Lahore and Peshawar. With this sighting, fasting for the holy month will commence from tomorrow (Tuesday).

The announcement follows a meeting chaired by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad in Peshawar, specifically convened to sight the Ramadan moon for the Hijri year 1445.

Maulana Azad is poised to make the official declaration of Ramadan’s commencement, marking the beginning of a period of spiritual reflection and observance for Muslims nationwide.
