Responding to a question about any backdoor deal with Imran Khan, Sanaullah ruled it out, stating all matters related to the PTI founder were before courts and would be decided strictly in accordance with Constitution and law. Legal relief must be sought through judicial forums, he added.

Sanaullah emphasized that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar remained in continuous contact with global leadership. The international community widely acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.

He highlighted the ceasefire between Iran and US as a major diplomatic success, averting large-scale destruction and instability. Pakistani leadership was being appreciated worldwide for its vision and prudence, he added, praising President Donald Trump and other major countries including Saudi Arabia and Iran.
