Rosie O’Donnell, the 64-year-old former American talk show host and comedian, recently shared details about her most expensive investment – a lower deep plane facelift in January. The procedure cost her “more money” than she has ever paid for a car.
In an emotional post on Substack, May 25, O’Donnell expressed feelings of shame over the high price tag of the procedure, considering it a gross excess that wounds her. She had always been strongly against facelifts and embraced aging, but after losing weight, she faced a dilemma about being inauthentic about her stance on cosmetic procedures.
The comedian noted that acceptance of her decision started to feel like lying, highlighting the internal conflict between her beliefs and personal experience with cosmetic surgery.
