Royal Expert Reveals Thoughts on Princess Eugenie and Beatrice

A royal expert reflects on King Charles, Prince William, and Queen Camilla’s relationship with Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice amidst their parents Sarah and Andrew’s scandal involving Epstein. The expert, Ian Pelham Turner, stated that King Charles, his wife, and Prince William have a “soft spot” for the York sisters.

Turner explained that during times of pandemic and when Charles and Kate were undergoing cancer treatment, Princess Eugenie and Beatrice provided considerable assistance by covering royal engagements. This reduced pressure from more senior members of the monarchy, indicating these princesses held significant value in their support roles.

According to a family friend who spoke with People magazine, “They want to hold onto their royal status; it’s part of their identity.”

These claims emerged days after Sky News reported that Eugenie and Beatrice have been barred from attending Royal Ascot this year. The decision was reportedly made by Prince William at short notice.

The ban extends beyond the horse racing event as well, with other senior royals instructed not to associate with Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice during the processional ride through London’s streets.

This development has left both sisters stunned and bewildered by the abrupt exclusion from a significant royal gathering. It marks another instance where Prince William’s stance appears at odds with his siblings’ preferences for inclusivity within the monarchy, sparking speculation about the evolving dynamics among the royals.
