Russia launched missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities overnight, resulting in at least 13 deaths and numerous injuries. In Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported four fatalities, including a 12-year-old child, while emergency services listed five deaths. Seven people were killed in Odesa and Dnipro, where residential buildings were set ablaze.
Klitschko stated that 45 city residents were injured, with rescue teams rescuing a mother and child from a damaged building. A large fire broke out in a north Kyiv district, injuring four emergency medical workers. In Odesa, Serhiy Lysak reported damage to infrastructure facilities and injuries to 11 people. Regional Governor Oleksandr Ganzha confirmed two fatalities and 27 injuries in Dnipro.
In Kharkiv, the second largest city, officials reported two injured individuals from drone strikes.
