Rwandan High Commissioner Harerimana Fatou stated that her country offers Pakistani businessmen an ideal gateway to East Africa’s 300 million consumer market, providing immense opportunities for investment, trade, and industrial collaboration. Speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), she highlighted Rwanda as one of Africa’s most business-friendly economies with zero tolerance for corruption, strong investment protection, and attractive incentives for foreign investors.

LCCI President Faheemur Rehman Saigol welcomed the high commissioner and noted that Rwanda has emerged as one of the fastest-growing and most business-friendly economies in Africa due to its economic reforms, political stability, and digital transformation. Bilateral trade is increasing steadily, but huge untapped potential remains. Pakistan’s exports to Rwanda during the current financial year have shown encouraging growth, reflecting rising interest from Pakistani exporters in the African market.

The high commissioner encouraged more Pakistani businessmen to visit Rwanda and benefit from opportunities in manufacturing, processing industries, and special economic zones. She invited the LCCI to participate in the upcoming Pakistan-Rwanda Business Forum scheduled for September 2026 in Kigali.
